Aufgaben
- Preparation of criteria for the assessment of risks resulting from natural hazards (earthquakes, storms, hail, etc.)
- Carrying out detailed hazard analyses, including estimating the maximum damage caused by natural hazards
- Survey and assessment of risks due to natural hazards worldwide
- Preparation of safety-related concepts
- Supervision of projects (internally and with customers) and safety consulting / support for customers worldwide
- Providing technical support to the global risk engineering network
- Implementation of training courses and workshops (internally and with customers)
- Communication of safety-related findings with the "claims" and "contract" departments as well as (further) development of processes and tools
Profil
- Completed university studies (engineering / natural sciences or geosciences)
- Professional experience in an engineering office or in projects
- Strong analytical thinking as well as a structured, efficient way of working
- Distinct customer orientation
- Ability to communicate and work in a team
- Very good English skills
- High willingness to travel
