To strengthen our team in Hamburg, we are looking for a full-time Allocator (m/f/d) to support the Sub-Region Central Europe (Germany/Austria/Switzerland/The Netherlands) as soon as possible. The position is hybrid, so home office is possible on a daily basis.

The Retail Allocator (m/f/d) is part of the Buying & Merchandising team of Sub-Region Central Europe, reporting into the Retail Merchandising Planning Manager and responsible for assigned markets Germany, Austria, Switzerland and The Netherlands. The Retail Allocator (m/f/d) corporates closely with local Store & Retail Area Managers, Sub-Regional Merchandising & Planning & Allocation team as well as the European B&M and Warehouse team.

The Retail Allocator role is established to optimize movement and profitability of in-season stock in collaboration with a dedicated retail team in the market. The Retail Allocator (m/f/d) is responsible for all stock sitting in our stores during sell in season. Analyzing the performance of our product and constantly optimizing on the basis of the analysis is essential, while also mastering efficient communication with several stakeholders in the local Retail Team and the European Departments.


Aufgaben
  • Keep an overview of the stock levels in all stores in collaboration with the Retail team
  • Repeat in-season stock by manual order management based on analysis of fast-moving stock and weeks of coverage – placing orders, clearing backlogs, order validation and follow up on central warehouse execution
  • Efficient movement of stock (stock transfers and consolidation) between stores to constantly optimize sell through within market • Feedback to the product team on SKU performance – bestsellers / slowsellers
  • Feedback on size-curve patterns in the markets
  • Movement of stock to outlets / warehouse by end of season
  • Operationally responsible for coordinating returns by the end of season to the central warehouse
  • Give input on current store grading to optimize cross docks to stores (main orders)
  • Responsible for building new store opening stock packages and stock movement after closure
  • Maintaining Stores master data in DAX12 + 365 to make sure correct info is shared within company
  • Coordination of promotional materials deliveries in timely manner
  • Various reporting activation on regular and ad hoc basis
  • Cooperation with retail and store managers in a close manner (costumer orders, claims, order status, sharing allocation plan, sharing all store-related information needed)

Profil
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience from the fashion industry is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Knowledge/experience within retail and/or fashion industry with international exposure
  • Preferably a bachelor within relevant disciplines like logistics or business administration
  • Occasionally travel to the stores and the Retail Meetings.
  • German & English languages on a negotiating level (written and spoken) is essential
  • Advanced Excel skills, SAP, DAX user would be an asset
  • Analytical approach and fact driven on KPIs (stock turn, weeks cover, missed sales etc.)
  • Strong communication skills and interaction with multiple stakeholders and nationalities
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
